The evolution of the logistics sector after the e-commerce boom

Discuss it with Marco Venosi

"The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent economic recovery have put pressure on logistics industry chains, changing consumer buying behaviors and habits.

The underlying real estate has been positively affected by the outlined economic environment, with logistics real estate registering transactions in 2021 of approximately 2.8 billion euros (+78% compared to 2020) and annual absorption volume reaching 2.5 million sq m (+10% compared to 2020).

In the current scenario, international investors are aiming to diversify their investments by seeking, even in real estate, the least risky initiatives: logistic properties meet this need, as confirmed by the increase in sales volumes and the contraction of real estate yields.

Marco Vanosi, Manager of AxiA.RE - Business Unit Valuation RINA Prime Value Services on Expansion talks about this."
